I think your pump needs to be close to the reservoir so you have a short pickup hose and a longer output. It easier for the pump to push the water then pull it. Bob

Like Phyl said previously place the fan so it blows across your sump. This will make a difference(about 3 degrees on my tank)and it's a cheap fix. Bob

It sounds like you have a short in the 3rd light that is why it trips the breaker. Check the wiring for any frayed or cracked insulation and that all the connections are tight. Bob

I just had my GBTA split also into 3. I used a small screwdriver to dig under the surface of the lr (still attached to the anemone). Worked like a charm. The last time I used a powerhead and ice and it took me a couple of hours, this time it took 15 minutes (included fending off my irate clown)...

With 2 year old bulbs your lucky that's the only algae you have. General concensis is a year or less on MHs. It's probably effecting your coral growth also. Bob

Jon How about a Coolworks Ice Probe Chiller. Not sure how well the work but they are small and relatvely cheap. There's one for sale in the forsale forum, $70 (demon16v). Hopefully someone will chime in with more info. Bob

I was thinking of fragging some zoos that are on my lr which I can't remove from the tank. If I frag it in the tank will the polythoa toxins effect my other corals (tank is a 46g). I do %20 water changes every week. Bob
