You also have to take into consideration that the Get Tanked Salt when mixed has a sg of 1.026, which is preferable, while the others when mixed with reccommended quantities yields a sg of 1.025 so more product would be needed to obtain a sg of 1.026. Bob

I would increase the height of the light and then gradually lower it a little over a couple of weeks. You can also put some type of netting over the top to diffuse the light. Good luck! Bob

I think the difference is that the HQI uses a electronic ballast and the non HQI use a magnetic ballast. Also the HQI needs a glass filter to cut the UV that it omits. Bob
