I am basicly reduing my tank and as i look on the rocks i see white sponge like things on a bunch of rocks, is that ok? also on 2 rocks i see 2 small white things they look like tiny white feather dusters with red hair that comes out and retracts just like a feather duster what is that?

it will need a 24 inch unit and its going over a 50 gallon high tank. The tank is 20 inches high.

I Have a Pro Clear, Pro 75 with a pre filter, I have 50 pounds of live rock, I have a Remora skimmer with pre skimmer, I have a Turbo twist 6 UV streilizer The problem is I been told that in my 50 gallon tank the fish i have are too big of a bioload. So maby with more filtering i will be ok.

What do you change or clean in the canister every 2 weeks?
