beside to make some good RO/DI warer, and do big water change...
- use a small diameter water hose, to siphon and suck them out
- if you do not have small hose, use whatever smallest one you got
- siphon them out to a container (5g, 20g...whatever), use fish net or strainer to filter them out...

in my own case, i pick power-head over pump.
Advantage of power-head:
- less heat
- less electricity consumption
- less worry (bigger bump need bigger return pipe to ensure it is draining fast enough)
Advantage of pump:
- since less man-made-objects in the display tank, it looks prettier...

yeah, RO/DI from AirWaterIce is good, with group buy discount, it is really a great deal...
(2)
you can also try the Cati-Ani from Artisan Corals, you can contact Bruce for more detail.
it is rated as 12gal per hour output, and no-waste-water...
the IC gel form group buy works great for me...
- I would place the Zoa on a dried-paper-towel first, so the Zao's bottom is NOT-wet
- next, wipe off water from plugs/LR-rubble, then apply 1 or 2 drops of glue on top
- then, place the Zoa's BOTTOM on the glue
- use your finger or something...
i mix it this way - less messy...
- roll a small ball of epoxy
- make TWO big den on opposite side, or poke a hole in the middle
- apply gel-glue to the hole
- you can wait for a minute or so, if you want to...
- stick the epoxy to the coral by holding the non-gel-part
- stick the coral base...
i saw this post today...
