Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
thanks for the info.
yes, i understood the PO4 reading will be increased back a bit, but i am more concern about will it leak back - as i did not remove them right away?
thx
yeap, they are so cute! (i got 3 of them from RedSand three months back...)
where do you get them? I know of many member wanted to get some too (after they saw them in my tank...)
;D
last yeat, my feather duster that looks death, because of the RBTA get too close to it all the time, and it ends up with a soft-tube with some feather hanging out, and when i touch it, it is not responding what so ever... but since it was stuck deep in the rock, so i left it along, and let it...
the clownfish i got claim to be tank raised, so i figured they may not know the RBTA is something that they should be host in??
i tried with the picture thingy, for about 2 weeks or so, it did not work... and it is kind of annoying with that big piece of picture stick on the middle of the tank...
to be safe, you can use some fresh garlic, and chop/grind it real fine, then mix with some flake/dried food, and feed them to your fishes for few days or a week - the ich will not like to attach to them anymore. this is a hit or miss method, and i find it did works for me few times in the past...
sorry to hi-jack this post a bit...
when the phospate media used up, can it be still sit inside the reactor for a while? it won't leak (bad stuff) back into the water - right?
i mean, i don't want to bother to check the PO4 reading everydays, and only check it once or twice a month, would it...
i do have a LitemeterIII as auto water change, i think it is over killed. may be i should switch them as doing the two part dosing, and re-do the auto water change with something else.
BTW:
the concept of using LitemeterIII for auto top off, is not good! and they are too expensive! it have to...
i keep telling myself at least a 100 times - "i think i am good enough for now..."
after few thousand $ spent afterward, and still not see the end of the other side of the tunnel! auto water change, bigger sump, bigger pump, fast cati-ani water system, best salt, better light, big chiller, calc...
Re: Brian's 225g Monstrosity!
if in weekdays - i think AO may be able to help you to load it onto your car/truck.
i can stop by later at night (around 8pm) to help you move into your house.
let me know when.
thx
i would say keep the T5s. (less heat, and many members in the club have great success w/o MH)
for coloring, you can pick the bult that are less blue to get more natural color, and can add few bright LEDs on the side to have the shimmer effects.
something like these??

i think you could try install it with the winXP-CD, just DO NOT put in that product-code from the CD, it might do an auto upgrade/repair using your current license on the harddisk.
talking about old OS... i may still have the CPM from apple II, anyone want it?
;-)
