OK Mike. I just feel bad leaving all of that stuff in your tank. I feel bad, but I'm afraid to move them because they're doing so well. I'd rather see you at Billy's anyway, so hopefully you can get the kids out on the boat tomorrow.

    Return pump for 90G RR

Assuming 1 overflow, you should plan on it handling only 600gph. We had a similar situation with out 65g tank and used a Mag 9 with a SQWD. The SQWD reduced the flow just enough that the overflow was close to maxed out and we didn't have to divert any flow. If you don't want to go the SQWD...

    So What is Your Motivation?

Originally, I got into the hobby because I thought the tank would be a nice tranquil place to relax in front of. Now, it's become more of a Sisyphus thing. I think I actually enjoy trying to push this huge boulder up the hill! Maybe it's the challenge of trying to get a great looking tank . . ...

Best way to catch goby - Calling all volunteers

A slurp gun is a long clear acrylic chamber with a disk inside it that forms a seal around the inner diameter of the chamber. That disk is attach to a handle that is used to pull it in or push it out. At the end of the chamber is a reducer and a smaller piece of clear acrylic. You put the small...

Best way to catch goby - Calling all volunteers

Phil, I have slurp gun you can try. It's pretty usefull for catching tropicals when we dive. It may work equally well in a tank. This is all theory of course, as I've never tried it personally.
