Algaebarn does copepods - tiny. I've been raising a bunch of these over the past 2 months.
Amphipods are the guys that jump out of the bag and you have to pick up off the countertop.

Eric,
FAntastic, hope you did well with that sale. THe amount of old SW stuff, Black Hole, ST, etc, that I threw out or let go would have put my kids through college.
And a Space 1999 theme tank would be pretty cool.
Matt,
I still do rockets with my son, we just picked up 2 new ones we plan to...
Built tons of models as a kid.
Spent 15 years as a professional artist, building many things from scratch in free time.
Decided to get back into BIG models that I can detail the ^*$# out of - cockpits, pilots, lighting, weathering, mwaaahahahahahaaaaaa
So, got the starter kit together (with a 2...
Got 2 at different times, both in same 110g tank. Feed them regularly and neither has touched a coral. Plus with their color and pattern changes, as well as the chill and explore attitude, they’re my favorite fish in the tank.
Agreed. Lately I've been ordering more off the net and paying shipping. I have a well established tank at this point and I'm pretty good with my livestock, so its been about 8-9 months since I actually purchased a fish and I dont anticipate any fish purchases soon.
Same with corals. I have a...
This is like asking a kid what they like better, ice cream or cake.
I’ve used both, as well as Maxspects, black boxes, and a few others. They’re both excellent lights. It comes down to preference.
In the past I ran a Prime over a 25 lagoon. I tried a Kessil at one point, which looked amazing...
Baster it was. Tilted the tank, stirred it up so sediment fell to the low side, siphoned off 8oz or so with baster.
Water was mildly green with spirulina, which I'm assuming will be eaten by the tank pods and such, and it was packed with pods.
Hopefully this survives a while.
Mark, going to...
Decision made.
From front to back...
ATI Blue+

ATI Aquablue Special (full spectrum, more white)
ATI Blue+
Thanks for the info folks.
Also snagged some new RODI filters and, egads!, a Hanna Alk checker (yes, I'm starting to actually monitor, Im sure this is where it all...
I filled a 2.5g tank 1/3 of the way with 1.021 water about 6-8 weeks ago.
I poured a bottle of Reef Nutrition pods in.
I added a bit of spirulina powder which I had about as a smoothie additive (enough to turn the water light green).
I left the tank on a table. No lights aside from when the room...
Sponge, I'm using the Hydras to supply some decent UV atm and its working well
MrX, hadn't considered the true actinic, after 30 mins research, its definitely in the mix, cheers
Mark, I have the coral+ as a possible. Its hard to run pairs as I do want to cover a number of spectrums on only 4...
Running 3 Hydra 26HDs over a 100g tank (4'x2'x2'ish) in a 36" ATI hybrid mount (4 bulb).
Recently ran a blue+, coral+, purple+, and a UV, as my first go. OK growth, decent coloring, but low flourescence and minimal pop.
Now its time to change bulbs.
Was thinking...
Blue+, Blue+, Purple+, Blue+...
