Just jumped in, that is a fantastic tank and fantastic work on the stand and black base.
Bit odd on the copper treatment in the DT from what I understand, but as someone who doesn't QT (aside from myself and family lately), no real experience.
But I am very curious how well the cuprisorb works...
This is not a good idea.
I speak from experience. My wife had a fungal infection on her big toe and I amputated her foot. I had forgotten about the excruciating pain, all the ateries, veins, bones, and nerves and things in there and it didn't work out very OK.
Get a general antibiotic, start...
Now that I'm looking at that, and looking at prices of the other snail types, I'm guessing that should be $88.99
Edit: Just dropped a big mixed snail order, including 5 orders of the trochus. Will keep folks informed on what happens. Ha! I may start raising snails in my live rock tank in the...
MR, I can place order, say, by tomorrow evening. Give me a call or drop me a text.
Hopefully a few others in the Brick/Toms River/Point area may be interested.
Interesting as I had some problems with them as well a few months back. I ordered a mandarin, which arrived dead. They sent me a replacement, which arrived in very bad shape and was dead by the morning.
Their CS was great and they offered to ship a third but I refused as I didn't want to...
D,
I'm not a big Tequila drinker, I'm a bourbon and gin guy, but when I do drink the agave I like to sip a small glass over time, so I tend to buy nice drinking stuff.
I tried all the Casamigos varieties a few months back at a tasting, and the Reposado really stood out as top notch, even more...
Just checked it out. With the overnight and handling charges my $32 order would be over $70.
Now, if some folks in central south wanted to join in for a few 25 packs of trochus, nassars, and ceriths, we can all split the cost and the packs...
Aaaannnnnd maybe get a shop to help sponser and get their sticker on each jar (fantastic marketing for them) in exchange for steeply discounted (or free) inverts and easy common zoanthids.
I’m going to make one of these today with my son :)
Thanks for the idea.
The most common (wanted) anem in the hobby is the bubble-tip, with green, red/rose, or rainbow as the primaries in reef tanks. They require pretty high lighting and circulation.
The aptasia/glass anems are reef tank pests that can over-run a reef and they can do well in low light and flow. I’d...
I'm absorbed in World of Warships right now. will give Overwatch a shot this weekend. Plus the tank build, refurbed a closet, put some flooring down, have a few models to continue with, doing some piano stuff, etc...
Keeping busy but sh&^^& as there's nowhere to go.
Stage 1: This hobby seems fascinating!
Stage 2: I'm building myself a tank. Sure, theres a ton of problems, but its just the learning curve. This is fun!
Stage 3: Cyano and diatomes are in my new tank? Panic, but we'll get through this.
Stage 4: The tank looks great! This is the best hobby, so...
I've been feeding my two and they're growing into monsters, no splits yet. Sponge graciously passes me one a few months back and I acquired a second at the meet. The first is bigger than a softball. The second, from the meet, was about the size of a 50c pice and is now bigger than a baseball...
