Alrighty Reefers - it seems like a bunch of us are rocking 40 Breeders. Let’s share some tank shots so we can get some ideas to copy!
Here’s mine - It’s about 10 months old.
Cut grass. Put up Christmas lights. Bought some Black Friday fish (filefish, cleaner shrimp, yellow tang, sailfin tang, and a green mandarin), watched Mandalorian (Asoka was awesome!), watched UCF take down USF and just started in on some bourbon.
Not a bad day, now that I think about it. :)
Great shots! Weird, we were very nearly at that Aquarium yesterday as well but our trip fell through. I very much wanted to swim with the whale shark.
Instead we went to the Camden Aquarium. It was great! I hadn’t been there since they opened.
The Camden waterfront looks and feels much nicer...
I have the same setup. Was cautious to start it but it was very easy. I have it tied to a Eheim 350 classic. The advantage Just hangs on the back.
That flow rate is low - a bit less than 200GPH if I’m not mistaken. According to BRS and the AI that rate is effective against ich and parasites...
I love clowns. It’s what I remember when I was a kid and was attracted to this hobby.
That said, they attack me every time I put my hand in the tank. Little devils!
Right. I just don’t want to go in a direction that I regret. Automation is awesome, and expensive. I want to make sure I’m buying into current technology.
Ok all you smart/advanced reefers...
How does this new product compare with Apex? I’ve always been a manual builder but am trending towards automation. There’s a lot of talk about how this is a game changer in automation. But since I have nothing to compare it to, I have no idea if that’s truth...
Here’s the update on the found-mantis. Got him set up in a 15g. He’s happy to have a tank of his own and eats all kinds of frozen foods. Pretty darn cool little creature.
He’s red - so he doesn’t have all those glorious peacock colors - but he’s pretty cool nonetheless.
