Little white floaters, look like those micro air bubbles, but they are definitely not air bubble, everything is feasting on them, corals included. Any idea what they are?

I am getting asterinas established in one of my tanks, I designed a scape to create sheltered areas to act as a starfish refuge/reactor to keep the population up.

I would be interested as well! Maybe if they could trim and sell the loose trimmings!?!?

Turning into a pretty nice show tank, just down to maintenance and making sure the fosters are keeping up, 3 gallon tank takes a little more work.

I have others posted that I incorporated what I’ve learned, the Hexscape is my favorite and has been moved to my living room. Granted 3g is pretty small for a show tank, but it is pretty nice. A couple of the zoas from this tank ended up in there!

Added a couple acros on 2/19 (miyagi tort and immortal tort) and am getting good regular polyp extension! Did not like the digitata in the front so I replaced it with a yellow birds nest. Got a Favia (looks like the Sector 001 but not sure) and added it pretty high but seems to like the light...

Decided the design (being my first reef tanks and a diy pico) was too hard to do regular maintenance. I have moved all the corals and inverts to other tanks I have been building out!

What are you doing for filtration?

I have my little thing of all-for-reef dosing to my 1 gallon! I do a 400ml water change a weekish. Keeping it cool when it gets warmer is definitely the harder part, and an ATO is almost non-negotiable.

Sweet, looks smaller than a nano, 3ish gallons maybe. Very cool shape and all, great find!

Time for an update! Lost the Acro and green montipora to a spike in salinity (forgot to turn the ATO back on after a tank cleaning), replaced the acro with another kind of fuzzy stick and the monti with a Leptoseris. I also struggled with the coding for the lights and wound up with a few long...

What is the total volume for your system? Do you have a recent picture of it, I think I am going to try this!

Do you have a ratio you would recommend for a mixed reef?
