I had a 6in orange shoulder tang for over a year. Then gone. No body no nothing. Couldn't jump and around the tank is clean. Nitrates never spiked. Just gone. I guess he died. Or moved to Mexico.
Dont worry guys there will be some more pics tomorrow. As long as I dont break the tank hahha jk. Im.not gonna let paulie touch anything. With his catchers mits for hands he just breaks everything.
I use the reeflink for the lights, return pump.and the mp40. It's a great feature... when it works. Lol. Wireless control is iffy at best. Once I hooked it up through ethernet it has worked well. The app leaves alot to be desired. But the website on a laptop is alot more user friendly.
Awesome. Glad this forum got approved. I have a bio cube pre setup for horses (its dry but ready) as soon as my daughter is a little older I'm gonna set it up in her room. I have a sand bottom, and a couple pieces of dry rock in the center with some fake plants attached... but honestly the...
Running the ecotech m2, it's great silent and a boat lost of money lol. But I does work very well, and can be controlled though the reeflink app on my phone. I was using the jaebo 6000 before this and I used that pump flawlessly for 5 years until one morning it was doa and didnt have any output...
Right now i have a few green sinulara, a purple gorgonian, a few types of mushrooms, green and one iron man. I can cut a green anacropora and a green elkhorn.
I also cut 2 gorgonians. One purple and one corky sea finger. Both are photosynthetic and are very hardy. I'll post aanotherrpic once they're back in the tank and opened up. I also have some nuclear green palys, and a nice size green elkhorn frag.
Hey just seeing if anyone is interested, I am trimming some of my sinulara back. So I'll be making a bunch of frags if anyone is interested let me know. Trades would be great, I will be cutting fairly large frags. Open for pretty much anything in return except GPS, xenia lol.
Yes but you can easily clean that with alcohol and you'll have to clean the tank anyway after with vinigar
Your not filling it with antifreeze. Your basically using about 3oz per hole and most of it burns off in the process. I've done about 50 holes this way and have never had any break or crack.
Drilling is super easy. Lay the tank on the ground with thw back panel facing up. Mark exactly where you want the holes, measure like 10x to make sure yourexqctly where you want to be. Get yourself some modeling clay. And put it where your going to drill your hole. Make an impression with the...
It would be a different look for sure. Only down side to anything in a salt tank is itll turn green. So youd be cleaning it with a toothbrush pretty much on the same schedule as cleaning your glass.
