My gyre 150 just started to fall apart this week after about 9 months of use. Cleaned regularly. After taking it apart, its really poorly built. Will not buy again.

Thermo couple is probable, but if it's a newer furnace with spark ignition, the igniter could be bad. Look at the pilot area and have someone adjust the tstat to call for heat. See if you get a spark. Regardless you will need a service call. Best of luck.

You can save space by having the return chamber combined with filter sock area. Have the intake go right into the sock...save you 8 inches right there. I'd want the fuge before the skimmer to get exposed to dirtier water.
