Worst acronym in this hobby EVER! If you Google AEFW you will find a lot about it. It is devastating. I saw it happen in my neighbors tank. Unfortunately you can't see them, but you can see where they have been eating the coral. If you have a close up pic or can get one, post it up.
I wonder when the reports were filed. We will get tropicals swept up in the Gulf Stream toward the end of the summer...September & October. We've had butterflies, tropical triggers, angels and everything swept up. That could be the same with the lions. In the winter though they usually all...
Paul...I have yet to see a lion off the Jersey coast. As of now I know they have made it as far north as North Carolina. If I do see one though, I will be sure to kill it immediately.
In addition to the ban they also loosened up some of the restrictions on hunting these fish. Divers on...
The State of Florida has banned the importation of live lionfish. This is great news! Lionfish have really been killing native species! I've seen the invasion personally while diving. They are everywhere. You can still have lionfish in your aquarium as long as it comes from Florida waters...
I have 4 packages of Formula 2 cubes...they state an expiration date of 1/2014. They have never thawed so they should still be good. Take them for $3.00 each.
Also have 1/4 sheet of Mysis. Best By date of 11/2013. Free to whoever buys formula 2 first :)
Yes it needs to be washed. It has been sitting since it was taken out 2 years ago. I have done nothing to it.
I'm in East Hanover. 10 minutes from Sea Level. I'm not far from Denville at all.
Are you looking for a still camera? What will you be using it for? Your tank? Snorkeling? Diving?
Check out this SeaLife DC1400. http://www.sealife-cameras.com/cameras/dc1400-pro
It is a great camera and it comes with the camera, housing and strobe. It is a really nice camera that I have...
Whatever the cost is....It still does not make sense how this little bit of peroxide will help with anything in that much water.
I get using it for spot treatments of algae, but not for treating an entire tank.
I'm still thinking the peroxide in the tank is going to be nothing but a waster of 10-15 bucks. Unless you use a gallon of it.
I know that peroxide is good for spot treating on coral frag plugs, but to treat an entire tank seems silly.
