When you think about where nitrates come from...ammonia converted to nitrites then converted to nitrates....this would say that it would be almost impossible for RODI or distilled water to have nitrates present. I think its a good possibility that the cloud is part of your ha problem. Have you...
Yeah the lights were the most expensive purchase but so worth it so far. I cant wait to get some corals in their.
Nitrates are being very stubborn right now.

Thanks guys!!!! I almost choked when they gave me the estimate for it but when I saw how much work they did just to install them....it was totally worth it.
Here's what that wall looked like 3 months ago.....
I don't think you have anything to worry about with your temp until you start hitting the 80 mark. I am doing the same thing with the house fan on the sump right now.
I totally agree with Nikki....I believe the cause of your problem is coming from not doing enough water changes. I would hold off on the peroxide and vinegar until you identify the cause.

Here's a picture of the tank with just the 4 t5's running....very difficult to see a difference between just t5's and just leds with a cell phone camera.
Here are the par readings taken in the center of the tank at the midline....I will take additional readings for front/back and all four...
I would either step up the frequencey of the water changes and do 10-15% weekly or 15-20% every two weeks and that needs to be consistent. If in reality you are only doing 10g every 3 weeks, thats definitely not enough especially with 3 tangs in a 75g tank. Good consistant husbandry is the key...
thanks bax!!!
T5's are up and running...this thing is bright. I took some par readings and I won't have to worry about growing coral....I will have to worry about torching them!!!! I will try to take some good pictures with slr over the weekend.
what kind of tangs and size? what's po4 level? imo I would cut back on the lighting to maybe 8 hrs until you get the ha issue under control.

Update.....
Not much has been going on over the last three weeks until last week when the cabinetry was begun and my light arrived on Friday. My original lighting plan was a custom led fixture from Sfiligoi but after waiting for 3 months and then being told it could be another 4-6 weeks before...
