Looks like cyano aka Red Slime Algae to me. The grren stuff in between just looks like green turf algae. I had Bryopsis...it was terrible...doesn't look like it.

I have been using Carbonite for 6 years. About to renew for another 3. It runs in the background and backups everything I save on my computer. They also just released for a bit more money that it will backup an external drive as well. No complaints here at all.

BCD's and regs can last many many years. Your are no very old. I have seen some coming into the shop from the 70's!! As long as they are checked over by a shop and serviced and given the green light...they should be fine.
