Do you use Adobe Lightroom? It may be easier to white balance in Lightroom when shooting RAW. If not, you can email me a pic and I can see if that is true.

My sailfin tang had it. It was getting worse and worse...then I read about carbon being a possible cause. Stopped using carbon and it got better and better. Took a couple years but it did completely heal.
