So I went and bought the composite shims and leveled the stand. The stand was pretty much level then we put the tank on. Now the stand is off by about a quarter-inch or so. What gives? Can I leave it like that?
So I'm still in the process of leveling my tank and stand. Question...I have to shim the back of the tank quite a bit and when I do it creates a gap between the stand and floor from where the shims are to the front of the stand where it contacts the ground again. What is the best way to fill...
And a perfect example of why the Red Cross sucks!!! I may have found a way to go down and help...thinking about getting a bunch of people together for Saturday to go down. I'll keep you updated.
I cooked my rock....ill try and find the thread but basically I put other all in a water/bleach mixture for a couple days then a water/vinegar bath for a couple days then clean water for a couple days....kills everything!!
I'd like to go down to anywhere on the Jersey Shore and help with the clean-up and restoration efforts, but the Red Cross is useless.
Anyone know who I can contact to go and help? Or can I load myself and a couple others in a car and just drive down somewhere and ask if people need help...
The power supply to my MP40 died. Anyone know where I can get a new one today? Radio Shack doesn't carry a 24V/2.5A power supply.
Anywhere else?? This is the only thing keeping my tank alive!!
Still no power in East Hanover!! The generator has been running since about 6pm-7pm on Monday. Gas is starting to get scarce, but I have about 10 gallons left and my genny will run about 9 hours on 50% draw off of 4 gallons. I hope I can find gas soon!! I'm asking for gas cans for Christmas!!
