    Jgraz's Finally a Proper Tank 90 Upgrade

Nah you can probably start them closer to 35 white, 60 blue. You have a deeper tank and were running a what, 6 or 8 bulb t5? Either way you can go higher than that

    Jgraz's Finally a Proper Tank 90 Upgrade

They will be dimmer to the eye. do not let that deceive you, they are much more powerful. The lumens, or visible light, is a lot lower than fluorescent, and wattage is much less, but the PAR and PUR is higher as well as the penetrating power of the LEDs vs the T5's. That is why most people burn...

    Aquarium deal I found

The house he is in needs a lot of work that costs a lot of money that he doesn't really have is the jist of it, And the added cost of the tank on top of renovations isn't doable right now.

Old salt water and sump pumps

I used to drain my water changes into my sump area lol. Much easier than lugging buckets, i just ran a hose. I never noticed anything detrimental because of it.

LED Hanging Stand or Light Stand over Tank

Closest I got was using conduit and bending them to hang over the tank, while attaching to the back of my stand. Worked rather well if you can get behind the tank to secure them, then just use eye bolts through conduit, you can even run the wires through depending how thick the cord is

    The 210 tank build

I'm another that is focused on smaller fish and more of them, I don't want giant fish squeezed into my glass box, it takes away from the intricacies of the reef behind them. Many small fish, swimming in and out and around crevices in the rockwork, hanging out in caves and tunnels, is much more...

    Light hanging suggestions

Depending on how thick of a piece of wood you put up will determine the length of the screw, but I'd go with either just a regular drywall screw or deck screw. Either will work.

    Light hanging suggestions

Yeah past the board you can use any method of suspension, i just personally dont trust single point hangers in drywall. Especially electronics hanging over water lol

    Light hanging suggestions

Most secure way of doing it would be to mount a board to the ceiling, can always put trim around it and paint to match to make it look nice, and then hang from that. The weight will be dispersed through the mounting points on the board to the ceiling, and there wont be as much pressure on just a...
