I suggest for your fuge...a nice amount of sand....a whole bunch of rubble rock and some cheato. No need for miracle mud, IMO.

I'd recommend keeping your Alk closer to 8-9...Natural Saltwater is 7-8. Did anything come off except for flesh when you did the dip?? Do you have Revive??

I've got a few bunches of Blue Anthelia I'm looking to sell for $5 a bunch. I've got Orange Monti Cap - $5 a piece ORA Elkhorn - $ 3 a frag ORA German Blue Polyp Digi - $10 for a frag or $20 for a huge piece fully encrusted.

Well the level was at 50 before I started dosing. I have not tested in a few weeks. I will post my new results later today.

It sure is...and no matter what I did, I couldn't get them down....hence why I started the vodka dosing.

I wouldn't add too much rock to the tank. Tangs like to have open room to swim. I have rock only in the center of my tank....which gives my tangs plenty of room on either side and in front of and in back of the rock. I have a Blonde Naso with my Sailfin....You can try a Powder Blue as they are...

Another thing that I think is happening from the dosing is that my filter socks are become filthy and clogged in just 2-3 days. It's annoying having to keep cleaning them but if I don't they overflow and make tons of noise in the sump.

My Nitrate levels are always around 50.

I've got a sailfin in my 180....IMO you'll be ok.
