Yeah it was!! I'm so mad!! He was doing fine...no one picked on him....all the fish get along. The BiColor wasn't too fond of the tailspot, but wasn't chasing him or anything....I am so annoyed!!
Well...where do I start....180 with plenty of rock....probably somewhere between 200-250 pounds. Everyone in the tank is VERY happy and this was the first jumper in a while. I did notice that the Bi-Color didn't like the Tail Spot very much.
The rest of my stock list is:
Sailfin Tang...
It's weird....I've only had 2 or 3 blue chromis jump on me. I have a Bi-Color Blenny for a while now that hasn't jumped either.
And the tail spot was doing really well. Or so I thought, before he committed suicide!!
I'm trying to avoid adding eggcrate to the top. I just love the way my tank looks now and spent a bunch ofmoney on stronger lights. I'd hate to add egg crate and have the intensity cut down. And my corals are doing awesome!!
Just going to the shore and filling buckets can be bad news!!
The shoreline, the bay, off the piers....thats where all the gunk builds up. Now if you had a boat and went 10 miles or so off the shore, then thats where the clean, healthy water is.
So hawkeye....did you go see it?? Want to know what you think.
Being in the movie/Television business as well, I saw the move at the Palisades IMAX 3D. Regardless of what anyone says about the special effects and graphics, they certainly don't know what they are talking about.
James Cameron...
Just hypothetical. I see all these people that ask the same questions over and over. So I figured I'd post a thread just about the situations.
My neighbor Trigger99 has 5 or 6 maybe more in his 210. They all coexist quite well!!
A lot of people say that when copper is used in a tank, it gets absorbed into Live Rock, sand and the silicone in our tanks and that the tank can never again be used as a reef or with any inverts due to copper then leaching out of the silicone. Is this a myth or is it a fact??
Oliver....I used 4 pounds of carbon in a bag...but they suggest you use a reactor as you want very good flow through the carbon. I put the bag right under a drain so that it got good flow. Siphon out any live once you can see and then any dead ones. That will cut down on the toxins. When you...
I had quite a lot!! I used to watch them chase copepods on my glass. Then they were getting to be too many and I used the FW Exit. Used 4 pounds of carbon too. That was a lot of carbon at one time LOL
Oh no....I have to disagree with the Flatworm Exit. I had a flatworm infestation....and I followed the box exactly, since I heard too many horror stories. And they died like crazy!! I noticed a few more lurking around about an hour later so I added 50% more. Now I have no flatworms. Just be sure...
So I have an Orande Monti Cap that is growing so big and so quickly that the bottom middle, where it is getting no light because of how it is growing, is starting to turn white and die. Is this normal?? Will this make the rest of the cap die??
