I agree. The fact is that with a nano your limited severely to what you can keep in it fish wise. I love fish and my woman loves corals. I like them alot too but in my nano I have like 3 fish and nothing else other than corals.
I dose it in my nano. It works well for what I need and I have not seen any negative side effects. My nano is mostly softies though with a few caps thrown in really high up.
Finally got my YoYo hangers in the mail from the Bay! 40 Bucks shipped 2 day priority! I haven't figured out how they "work" yet but they seem like they will fit the bill. Yes there are Pics!

Re: Ricwilli's 210 build
I think it does, the link and video says that it is tied into their aquaculture facility so it is pretty much alive if you ask me. I mean people buy Caribsea live sand and take that it is alive because it says so on the bag and has a little water in it.
Turn off your skimmer. Leave the pumps running. Cover with sheet and avoid overspray. You should be fine though. But the skimmer pulling air might introduce toxins in to your tank. Make sure the room is aired out well also before starting it again.
Re: Ricwilli's 210 build
Hey Ric what are you going to use for Live sand? I was thinking of buying some of this stuff from ebay. The Reception of it seemed to go over well and it looks really pretty. I like that it won't cloud the water so I can have good flow and not worry about blowing sand...
lol. well I had this little red shroom that was having trouble attaching to a piece of LR for the longest time. Kept getting blown around. So I dropped in a shot glass and some rubble rock and its started attaching and cloning itself.
has anyone ever used that live sand sold on Ebay...
I wanna know how this goes. I also have the ugly black trim. I was thinking of spray painting it but I was deathly afraid of overspray getting on the glass. I would rather a manual way of painting the trim.
While waiting and waiting and searching and searching that nano tank was really doted upon. I did water changes weekly. Wiped it down alot and tested like crazy lol. It Looks great and all I used in it was rubble rock lol. However, with the new big tank coming I am almost sure that I might loose...
I sanded with a Extremely Rough 60 Grit Sandpaper
Then I smoothed it out with 220 and threw on a coat of primer.
I lightly Sanded the Primered stand with the 220 grit paper and started putting on light coats of paint.
3 Coats of paint with 1 day between each coat later - Stand Finished...
