    Spotfin Butterfly Fish Collecting

They are there man. I was so shocked. I let them go though. My 125 was not set up yet and I really didn't have a way to transport them. What I thought was great was the fact that these are tropical fish and would probably have no problem at all of living in my reef. Hell we would be doing them a...

    Spotfin Butterfly Fish Collecting

I went down to Keyport NJ this Sunday for fishing and took out the seine net. We caught 4 Spotfins after about 30 minutes and a crap load of pipe fish looking things shiners, like 5 or 6 cock tail blue fish. This was down here in Dingy Jersey. I can only imagine whats up there in LI @ Shinnecock.

    Spotfin Butterfly Fish Collecting

Thats really the point. A 50 or 75 foot seine net right in the surf would yield those results. From my experience Angels that are introduced young in a tank with abundant food usually wont pick at corals. Its been my experience with just about every juvi angel I have ever had.

Red Macro Algae, Small Black Snails

Yesterday I went to the jersey shore (Sandy Hook) and there were millions of small black snails, crabs, pipe fish, and killies in a bunch of tide pools. I also saw and abundance of Red macro Algae. Is the red macro algae safe for me to put in in my sump? How about the snails?

    120 vs 125 -

I'm planning on a new tank and I was thinking a 120, 125 or a 180. I just noticed the dimensions on the 120 are 48 X 24 X 24 and those dimensions sound great for a reef tank. Deeper than longer. Should I consider the 120 over the 125?
