Looking good Brandon!

I like all those unions….there is no such thing as too many unions!

Now what gauge shot did you use in the shotgun to make those holes in the stand?

It appears that you have two return pipes coming up from the sump. Are you running two return pumps? If not, you should only have one pipe coming up, with the other bulkhead being supplied by a horizontal line running over to it (or single line up with a tee feeding both bulkheads). The reason is that now you have twice the head pressure.

used a holesaw making 3 holes to fit the pipe. 1 pump, to run it horizontal you would've seen three connection over the too of the tank and well it bothered me. I'm still debating if I should t off the return

Well today was day 2 of plumbing and what did I accomplish, nothing except get high off the fumes.

Why is it so F-ing difficult to make the connection for the stupid return. Blah next time I'm just paying a plumber or someone with experience to do it. I've wasted probably close to 8 hours working on the f-ing thing and not even close to finishing the stupid return since pieces don't line up or are off just by a BIT.

/me throws in the towel for the night, maybe I'll do it this weekend idk.

Are you dry fitting before you glue? I'd give advice but my way to plumb is to complain until CJ gives in and does it.

Well heres the thing I did dry fit everthing, but then when it was time to connect the pump to the final plumbing I had already glued everything... so yeah learned my lesson. idk i may cut out all the plumbing, but then I'm beat for like $40 and have to order new gate valves. BLAH

If you have a little pipe on either side of the valves, than you can cut out the valve and use a coupling to save (re-use) that valve.

Brandon, do one piece at a time. Measure cut and glue one piece, and now measure for the next piece, etc. This way everything should fit.

there's no room for a coupler but I think I can make it work idk, I'll figure it.out

First does anyone know what this valve coming off my RO's waste line is for and which way it should go?

Now on to the plumbing YES I KNOW I SHOULD NOT HAVE USED ALL THESE 90s, BUT IT WORKS and it works well enough where I have a great amount of flow from the pump still to the point where I may need to use that valve and divert some to the fuge.

Also I felt it better to run the drains right to the skimmer then let that water flow over to the fuge rather than do a drain into the fuge. The pipes aren't glued so if I change my mind I can always do that.

That valve on the RO line is to flush the membrane. A flush valve helps reduce TDS creep and extends the life of the membrane. It is also your flow restrictor so don't remove it or your system will not work. I have one on my system and I flush my membrane once a month for 5 minutes.

From the 800 on it, I'm guessing you are running a 100 GPD membrane?

Yes, generally you want it closed like it is, and once a month open it and let it run for 5 min. to flush the membrane.

It looks like you are ok with the 800, it can be used for a 75 or 100 GPD membrane but typically 75's use a 600 flow restrictor.

so the tank is filled, plumbing dry, but MAN OH MAN IS THIS THING LOUD!

I went so far as to turn the return almost completely off and it was still loud of the water flowing down. So I closed the drains a bit and even then LOUD

wtf mate bah

I have the same thing with my GH overflow. I was told you have to drill a hole into the 90 at the bulkhead and put some tubing in it. Haven't tried it yet though.
