Brian's 225g Monstrosity is Now 180 gallons of FUN!

Yeah, I was pretty shocked at the difference in the two pictures. I think the Sea Hare went to the great reef in the sky so I don't know if it gorged itself to death or what...lol...I have the Fox face and he seems to pick at it, but I don't know how much of it he is actually eating.
Man maybe he's under a rock, sleeping it off! Great to see your tank looking so much better!

These pictures make me laugh. The tank looks like a 20 gallon in these pictures!

It really is hard to do justice to big tanks with full tank shots!

It's always something, isn't it?

You need to tape a quarter to the front of the glass. That would make the perspective JUMP out at ya!

Re: Brian's 225g Monstrosity!

Hi, remember me? lol

Well, all the algae is pretty much gone. But of course that isn't good enough for me! I've decided to DOWNGRADE the tank to a 180 gallon. I couldn't take the height anymore...having the tank on a 4" concrete pad and the tank being 30" tall made reaching the bottom just about impossible.

So, in about a week I'll be heading over to Aquatic Obsessions and picking up my new 180g WOOOO

The fun begins....again!

Oh how exciting! I consider this an UPgrade! You're really going to enjoy the tank being glass, I think! Just be sure to use your ReefGadget so that you don't scratch the glass!

I'll need all the help I can get, so if you're around...I could surely use you! :)

I guess I'm going to try and sell the other tank to recoup some of the costs of the new one either that or I'll set it up as a FOWLR...(just kidding Deb!)

Brian, I have a 55 g drum I could drop off for making water / holding water. Let me know.

Re: Brian's 225g Monstrosity!

We also have a 150g stock tank and several 55g drums. Let us know what you need! The 150 comes in REALLY hand when you're moving rock/livestock out of one tank to setup another.

I can empty my barrels as well and I have two 30 gallon barrels and some rubbermaid tubs.

Great news!

Remember and miss!

Congrats to the "what shall I call it"? It's not really a down-grade IMHO, it's just the same tank where maintenance will be SO much easier.

OH, and I don't think I've ever said that to your face, so here goes: Please feel free to stop by any time you want (with Deb and baby, of course), and take a pick of what you might want from my tank. ;)

Re: Brian's 225g Monstrosity!

Thanks for all the offers everyone and when I'm ready Wendy, I'll take you up on that! :)

I think I'm good with 55g Drums. I have a 55g and 44g filled with RO, Paul (redfish) dropped another 55g drum off, and I'm pretty sure I have one in the garage still...but I need to fish it out of all the crap in there.

I still could use some rubbermaid tubs for the rock and corals...

Thanks again everyone!
