I never used kalk. *stupid question coming* what is it used for?
Kalkwasser, limewater, calcium hydroxide, is a good Ca/Alk supplement to help maintain those elements between WC's. It's really a perfect balance of both Calcium and alkalinity in a single component. Here's a couple articles worth reading:

Ok next dumb question. The glass hole overflow has 2 holes. Now r both gonna be draining down into my sump or is one a return? These overflow boxes confuse me lol
both holes will be used as drains.
Okay so the return will just wrap around the top of the tank??
Yes.....or you can drill the tank for the returns as well....they sell those kits as well. However, I prefer coming up over the top....that's what I did.

Oh you have it running across the frame and dumping back in on opposite ends of the tank?
Yes.....running along the top of the tank, but dumping in at four locations. The return line comes up to the top-center of the tank to a tee. The tee goes out left and right, to a respective other tee, and ends with an elbow. Off of these tees and elbows are four Loc-Line returns. This picture shows it better than words:

lmao sorry im not stealing your idea!! lol and yeah now that im actually looking at my tank, my output nozzles dont really put out a whole lot of flow with them wide open. and fortunately for me, ill never be rich enough to own any Ecotech products. ill stick to the Jabeo

I will say that after owning/running both Jeboa wp40's and Vortech mp40's I can see the difference and the Ecotech's are much better
I can't really chime in and say which is better bc I've only owned the jabeos. I just like em for the price Lol don't mind that I gotta clean em every month or so
