Dan's 150 Rebuild

I thought about the gyre. Might make sense as I'm not doing sand. Never thought of that actually. Do you think 1 would be enough? Also, I have corner overflows. Don't know if the gyre would fit on the side of my tank.

The Gyre effect will work in your tank. In my 75, I put two wp-25s and two wp-10s on one wall. Put them all on H1 and aimed them at the surface of the water. That's like 6,000 Gph circulating, and believe me, it works lol. It's overkill since my tank is mostly softies right now lol :p

Every so often I'll switch them all to W1 Mode for about a half an hour or so. This gives any debris in the water a chance to settle down to the floor (barebottom). Then, I'll kick them all back to H1 at once, and it's INSANE to see how much **** ends up under the rocks. Works like a charm :)

Wow. I called PayPal this morning to dispute that transaction and I just got an email now saying the dispute was complete and they already refunded my money! They must know this guy if it took less than 24hrs for this to resolve it lol

And the reason behind all of this was because he finally answered me. He said he was "busy". I'm sorry, I gave u $225 on my hard earned money, you better at least send me a message to reassure that you're definitely going to go thru with the transaction. Ugh why r people so stupid?

I know it's back a ways but I agree with others IMO I don't think you can ever eradicate ich I think it's in rocks, fish, coral, crabs, etc not in them exactly but in the water there in and since you can never truly dry them off there is always a chance to get it in your tank even if you,qt everything for ever.
I qt a fish if it comes from a questionable situation if I get it from someone I trust or have had good dealings with and the fish is eating, fat, and no signs of bad stuffff right in the tank it goes. I feel that sometimes the qt process stresses an otherwise healthy fish into a bad situation and makes it sick

I hear ya. I think I'll be good. I plan on buying fish from either divers den /live aquaria or trusted people that I've dealt with before.

awesome, hopefully this guy isnt a scammer either. lol

i was looking at the feedback forum at R2R and it seems a lot of people are getting scammed. I wonder if its the same person?
I was approached similarly like a lot of the people that got scammed.
