Do you think this is good enough? I have a built in probe holder but the holes need to be reamed a lil bit, forgot to do that before filling up the tank. I'd say almost an inch of it is submerged
It won't fall. Its in a probe holder. Only way it would fall in is if it snapped in half. The holes aren't big enough so it can only go down so far. That's just fine. But what is holding it up so it doesn't fall into the tank?
That's what I figured, I just didn't know if it would be pointless to put live sand in now if I'm just gonna wind up cycling the tank anyways once I add the old rock.Doesn't really matter, it will cloud the water, so I would do it before you focus on your main tank
Lol figured I'd ask here firstUmmmmmm
Why don't you give them a call.
Do u know if Everything Plastic will cut to size?
Next question..does anyone know where I can find inside dimensions of my tank. obviously it'd be easier to measure it but there's water in there already. I tried googling it but couldn't find much, just outside dimensions
I like the sarcasm lol I knew I could do that I just don't wanna get it wrong and have them cut something. Plus I have to measure for the overflow walls too in the cornersAquarium glass tends to be clear. Standing in front of your tank, with a tape measure, you can see the side glass by staring through the glass. Place the one end of the tape measure on the inside edge of the side glass and measure to the other inside edge. Repeat this proceedure for your side glass. And you don't get wet!
I would have the cutting board cut a minimum of 1/8 inch....I'd go for a 1/4 inch smaller.
....... Plus I have to measure for the overflow walls too in the corners
It should be symmetrical I would imagine. You can do this through the glass as well......and extremely easy if the overflow is symmetrical.
