Dan's 150 Rebuild

I thought about fragging some of my existing zoas and putting em all on one or two discs and letting them grow all over the overflows but not sure how that would work out

I've seen GSP on overflows and it looks pretty nice. I would think zoas would too. Though it might take a while to cover.

Just picked up 2 purple dottybacks. Hopefully I'm the lucky one and they play nice :)

I added one of them (Pseudochromis porphyreus) to my old 44 gallon years ago and it was the meanist fish in the tank. I had blue devil damsels that hid from it and a firefish was ripped apart. I pulled him after a week. If yours are the same fish, hope you have better results. Your tank is much bigger, so maybe it'll work.

well that's good to hear..... Lol let's hope I have better results!!

Since then, I've had Royal Gramma's and had no issues with them. Maybe try them in a smaller tank and see how they are together or with other fish, so they're easier to get out.

Okay I'm done for today.. Made a new skimmer stand outta egg crate(thanks Matt). Vacuumed out my sump and did a 15g water change.

I've seen 1 of the 2 dottybacks a couple times but not both at the same time yet. Other than the corals on my sandbed, the tank looks awesome right now :)

Okay a question for my trigger friends. I'm just noticing now that my male blue throat trigger doesn't have yellow on his fins like all the others do. His tail is more red it seems. Is that normal for a young BTT?

He can turn on and off the yellow trim. Not sure why he does it, but mine does it on and off every once in a while. It's normal.

No idea. Just noticed my yellow tang and my bicolor blenny look like they have quite a bit of white specks on em... Not sure if its definitely ICH but its my only guess :(
