I have a doser BUT am very leery about hooking it up again bc it failed me in the past somehow and I lost a ton of SPS colonies in the process.
Does a calcium reactor require CO2? Or can it just be ran off a manifold?? I'm looking at the Korallin c1502 and it keeps mentioning a CO2 system
In addition to the reactor you'll need a co2 bottle and a regulator. Milwaukee and Reef Fanatic sell regulators in the 100 to 150 range. Don't bother getting a shiny new aluminum co2 bottle. Just get a used one. More than likely the place that you get your co2 from will just swap out the bottle anyway for a full one. Do you already have a controller?
You shouldn't even have enough pellets in the thing to make much of a difference. You have to slowly introduce them.
No I don't have a controller Mike. I think I'm gonna put the calc reactor on the back burner for now. I'm gonna have to save up and put aside some money for those lol
Just keep your eye out for a used one. They pop up from time to time. Your probably a ways off from really needing one anyway.
Dan,
How you liking your return? did you put anything under the pump at all?
On mine I notice it making a whining sound almost like a computer fan, wondering if thats standard procedure.
