Dan's UPGRADE 150G

The primer should be good for almost ever and as long as the glue is not hard you should be good to go

+1. As long as the glue isn't clumpy. A little trick for storing PVC glue is to store the can upside down. Make sure the cap is on tight, the glue stays much longer this way.

Interesting.. I'll check it out when I get home. If its bad, I'll just wait to go out and get more. Gotta decide on a motor Lol can't figure out which one I want

Instead of 2 mp60s have you thought about 3 mp40s? You could create more random flow which your future sps collection would love.JMO

Not MP.. WP(jabeo).. Ecotech is too rich for my blood Lol... But nah I didn't think about that. Good idea.

Wp, Mp, all the same. I have 3 units on a 55 and it was the best I did for my sps. After seeing Herbies tank and all the crazy flow he had with sps growing on top of sps, I was a believer.

And that's only my first question Lol also do you think a 300w heater is good enough for the tank?

General rule is 3-5 watts per gallon so 450 watts would be about what you need but that doesn't include the sump either. If you have a warm house it's not that big of an issue though.

So our first move day is Feb 1st. Were supposed to have a couple days but who knows. My plan was to get a few trash cans, start making fresh water and mixing it at the new place. Set up my new tank. Plumb it, put sand in it and start filling it with some of the fresh water. Then go back and start draining my 90. Bringing as much water as I possibly can from that tank. Pretty much this is probably going to be an all day event. Does this sound about right to everyone? And critiques? Please share if so.

If your levels are close there is no need to save/transfer the old water. It holds next to no good bacteria so that is just added work...

Well I was just gonna reuse it bc its gonna be hard to produce 150+ gallons of fresh water in 1 day ya know?

Haha well I dont know if i have one day, I'm gonna assume I do bc if I only have 2 days total to move. I have to devote one to the tank.and 1 to all my furniture

Depending on what day the move is. Would anyone be willing to help me out? Probably won't need a ton of people but it'd just be easier for the transfer of content from the 90 to 150
