Dan's 150 Rebuild

You may want to reconsider that. You definitely don't want to medicate the same fish all over again especially if thy don't need it. Medicine is just as capable of causing just as much harm to the fish as it can good.

Plus, if I put them into my display now, I don't necessarily have to treat them. The medication is set to end this upcoming Weds. I can put em all in the display and wait to see how they r, if a problem arises then I'll be able to deal with it without coral or inverts being in there.

Just bought a jebao DC9000 on eBay. Max flow of almost 2400gph and its controllable so I can fix my "dumping" problem hopefully and I can close that one valve. Yayyy

Redid my rocks again. What's everyone think? I really like it actually :)

Fish are doing amazing. Like nothing ever happened :) gonna start getting new ones very very soon

May be a good idea to wait and let your system stabilize. You just lost a bunch of fish to ich and treated and moved rock around etc. your biological filter has defintely been reduced and will have to recover.

The most important thing in this hobby is patience, so it would be good to wait before adding any new fish, unless you want them to get ich and start dying again...

Well I'm not saying tomorrow. I'm saying in the next few weeks probably. Plus the way I see it, is I can basically use my tank as a QT right now. If any of my new fish get exposed to ICH, I can treat again while nothing else is in the tank. Am I wrong?

I don't, but does anyone?

Which is exactly the reason to be patient and wait. "A few weeks" is nothing for a system to recover. Additionally if the new fish get sick and you use the tank as a qt, treating with meds is not always the best for the health of the fish. But hey what do I know...

I am being patient. I still have another week or so of stripping the meds out of the water starting Wednesday plus water changes. How else am I gonna know my system is okay unless I add a fish and monitor?

This is excellent advice that needs to be heeded!!! Good stuff Darren.

I agree its great advice, which I will try to uphold as much as i possibly can. I do plan on taking everything slow. I'm not in a rush to have my tank maxed out. I'd rather see everything smooth right along(hopefully).

I found that some Dr Tim's or instant ocean bio spira helped me get my system back on track after treatment. In glad that the meds worked for you. Its some good stuff.
