Heard good things about the doser. That's the one I was gunning for but my wife got me the BRS ones instead. If you need RO line let me know. I have a ton in different colors.

Well after day 1 of dosing, I tested and my alk and calc were right where I wanted them (9dkh and 460ppm).

Day 2 of testing my alk was up at 10dkh and calc was down to 440ppm. I set the timer to 10 second drips rather than 15 seconds. Hopefully when I test later I'll have better results

What I would do is when you have your numbers where you want them. Don't dose anything else. Check it the same time the following day. That will give you an idea of how much uptake you have. Then set the dosers to administer that much. Then check again for the next several days. And adjust if you need to. I fear that the swing from rising and falling Alk could do some harm to your corals.

Well that's what I did. I dosed and monitored for a day and determined what I needed to dose. Both times that I've tested were both at 7pm so it was an exact 24hrs. I obviously just miss calculated Lol I'm gonna test tonight and see where I am and go from there. I figure taking off 5 seconds per drip is 60seconds of dripping. That's 30mL that's not going in anymore. So it should lower it.

As for my corals. They're all good. My alk used to be 5 before I started dosing. So its definitely seen its fair share of alk swings Lol

Looks like you have a lot more depth and room for coral placement, I like it. Shouldn't have too much trouble placing all of those corals back in with all the new spots now!

Thanks man. Yeah it was definitely alot easier to place all my corals in there Lol glad I finally got it done tho

Dan that cat would make me very nervous up there.. Tank new scape looks good
I also use BRS two part very easy and price is not to bad. I use brs dosers they seem to work just fine.
Kevin that purple bonsai looks great I think you need to frag a piece for me and bring it the next time you go visit you parents lol.
