You might be right. I just don't feel satisfied if it's not my best work.

A few canopy shots. Still not finished yet, but was able to get tank up and running.

Sorry. Shrank it down to message board size. Don't know what happened.

I hung a sien net behind it to see what it looks like. If I leave it like that, I'll have to hang something else behind that to hide the wall. I'll get a pic now.
Thanks again everyone.

Wow Mike, that really came out great! I really like the look of it. It's classy but not gaudy. Very very nice!

Thanks John.
Did you see how I bent the rosettes around the contour of the lid? I bet you didn't know I own a wood bender and a wood stretcher.

LOL! There have been plenty of times I wished I had a wood strecther! The rosettes look really nice like that. Great technique.

I always ask my new guys to get me them tools out of the tool boxes. You should see the things they bring back. We sit for an hour laughing at them. That tells us what kind of experience they have.

My theory. Cut the piece a 1/4 inch bigger and see if it fits. You can always cut another blade with off.

I was in charge of the stock room/tool cage for a company I worked for. You wouldn't believe the stuff people were sent to get. I was always being asked for Left Handed Allen Wrenches and Metric Adjustable Wrenches. The best was the new guy who came up to me and asked for a can of "Elbow Grease". I still laugh when I think about that one!

Mike,
The canopy and stand are awesome, excellent work. As far as the tools go if you need more than a hammer, wrench, saw or screw driver don't ask me.
