That's a quick way to bring it up to speed! LOL
Is that a yellow tang peeking around the rock on the last pic or just an illusion??

So, now that my office system is down to about 300-325ish total gallons, pushing tons of air through my dual becket skimming beast of an MRC MR4R skimmer seems a bit much.

Sooooo today, I just recieved, my new (slightly used) SRO 3000 XP External!!! ;D What a beautiful skimmer! Yooooouzzza! This puppy is huge for its rating! Nearly as big in every dim as my MRC4R but only drawing 40 watts! 8)

Here's some pics I posted back in May, I'll take some new pics soon and we'll see how my post AEFW reef is doing! :D

The urchin pics were for the POTM but I never got around to submitting them, despite Dave's urgings! ::)

Thanks!

I was documenting my battle with AEFWs soooooo long! :p It's been a long time since I felt like there was something "good" to take a pic of!

My system is in a real happy place right now. Moving to LEDs, for me, was a huge plus. I battled high temps the last two summers with great difficulty. I still run MH, a 250 over the frag tank and a 400 as a supplement to my LEDs on the 100 g display. The MH's are timed so as not to be on together and I'm down from 2x 400s 2x 250s and 1x 175 .... With a window AC going, my chiller rarely runs!

The LED with MH supps combo is sweet, I think the pics speak to that!

I'm on vacation starting tomorrow, but when I return, I'll be painting and hanging the trim in my family room. Then I have to tile the entrance ways and get the carpet laid down. That opens the door to working on my new system at home! Uh huh! That's right!!!! A reef actually in my home and not my office!

I'll be ordering a 150g Deep Blue from A.O. All the gear will be in a closet in the garage so the things I've learned from running a reef in my industrial setting will come in real handy! Especially in terms of space utilization, plumbing, temp control and venting.

My wife says I need to bring the clown pair home and get them a new nemn! So I'll be searching for a blue carpet. This will take a little while to complete. I'll be building all the cabinetry myself, this is a project I've been looking forward to for a very long time! I can't wait! 8)

So!

I've kinda been fretting over running the new 150 system I am installing at the house and keeping up with the office system.

Well, the universe being as it is, I must begin planning moving my office yet again! Only this time, the big office system is NOT coming with me! I can't do two major system moves at the same time!

So.... i will be focusing all attention on the new 150 system!

Unfortunately, his marks the begining of the end of the Big Office System thread. ::)
