I know I have some time before my rock cures hence why i've been looking for a larger tank! Hopefully an SR-80 comes out of no where. I would need to rebuild my stand and sell this current setup but I want a bigger tank I think..

Wow. What happend.
We have a 3 stage tap water filter for our instant hot water & drinking water and the plastic 1/4 threaded elbow under the sink sheared off and ran while we were sleeping for 4 plus hours. Soaked my entire finished wood kitchen floor and seeped into the basement.

To make matters worse.. My doctor appointment this morning resulted in me having to get my tonsils removed next Wednesday. :(

Man it truly pores when it rains. Look at the bright side. You have used up a whole year worth of bad luck. Your good to go brother.

Small update I managed to get in!!

With my entire basement being opened up due to the floods and my water main being down there i am installing a 1/2 pex direct from where it comes into the house to avoid all the old copper in my house! Hopefully I cut 75 TDS

I have an actual LED man cave sign down there. :( I'll document some progress on the cave as we re-build as well.. But yeah always looking for improvements. My new take is I will start the 30 gallon cure my rock get some fish & corals and than look into a bigger tank.

My goal is to have a powder blue tang and I KNOW I need a bigger tank. Need to make sure the hobby is for me first.

I will be doing the same... but shhh don't say it because the police will show up. If I notice he's stressed or too big I will return him & or put him in my brothers bigger tank unless a bigger tank is around the corner.

my main priority is to get some good dry rock cure it for a few months get alot of base flat rock to make a nice landscape, focus on getting the equipment done most likely a auto top off system that doesnt cost 300$,... work on the sump first is what im mostly gonna work on sump and rocks hopefully by that time marine orbit PRO leds drop in price and get those

Get the AquaSmart ATO nano.. I use it on my tank and my brother uses it on his 65 works like a dream and is 130. I would avoid marine orbit.

I use the IceCap ATO. For my second tank, I actually just bought a couple of "replacement parts" and assembled a whole new ATO system.. saved a chunk of change there. That was the replacement controller, sensors, pump.. etc.

I did it y'all ! I pushed a late night and got my tank cleaned! Rock came from marine Depot and it's all georgeous rock smells great looks great! I cleaned it with a screw driver for any leftover sponges / etc. Used the air compressor to blow anything else off and filled her up!

I have an additional piece of rock to make an arch on the left but I'm not sure I want to just yet as I like the swim space. I am only worried that I need rocks higher in the tank.. thoughts ?
