It was great seeing you yesterday Wendy, You were the highlight of my day! Love the tank, It is beautiful!! I have one question.What is that thing called all the way over on the right side of the tank?? LOL.. I sure would love to buy a frag of that!! Next time I come up I will bring one of these for you.

And what on earth is that helmet? For paintgun? C'mon, you know I'm slow. Oh wait. Is it for when I cut the Undata again? LOL. Believe me, that helmet won't do the trick.

Today I picked up my long-anticipated newcomer. I honestly thought she'd fit right in. :-X Even though I expected "some sort" of shuffling, and huffing and puffing, I didn't expect a down right war.
She is a Whiteface Tang (Acanthurus japonicus). I slowly acclimated her with only the Blue Pluses on, so she could see where she was heading. Nobody ever bothered with the bag she was floating in. Before I added her, I turned off all the lights. Didn't seem to matter much because as soon as her body hit the water my Red Sea Sailfin Tang AND my Hippo were all over her. :'(
An hour or so later I turned the Blue Pluses back on. YIKES!! I wanted to scream. It looked like my Sailfin and Hippo were both ganging up on her at the same time.
BUT - she was holding her own, never lost color, but stood her ground. I'd never seen my Sailfin as p-o'ed as I did then. The same goes for my Hippo. The black in him was literally glowing.
Now that I've turned all the lights back on, things "appear" to slow down a little. Not that my other tangs are happy with the newcomer now, oh no - they still go after her, but not nearly as often as 4 hours ago.
Here are some pictures of the new fish.
Hopefully they will all settle down without causing too much damage to each other. :-\

Wendy, would you mind telling me where you got that light setup or what it is? I'd like to go a similiar route with my 4' long 120 but am really struggling with understanding T5 setups. Thank you.
