Flushing the RO side! Making water!
Pressure with the booster is 90psi...I guess I will have to figure out how to dial the pump back.

That's a great step forward. I wouldn't be worried with 90psi. The to membrane is actually more efficient at higher pressure. If you were at 105psi + I would turn it down.

Thanks, just was going by what the instructions stated, buy glad 90 is ok. Just need to drill out the Brutes and keep an eye on how the floor sump takes the waste water and this part is done.

Ran the RO last night for one hour as recommended to remove any fine particles and then bubbled it for 24 hours before running it through the DI and was pleasantly surprised, it was 012 in and 000 out.

I hope to start cooking some rock this week and want to remove phosphates. I've been reading about lanthanum chloride treatment. Does anyone know the concentration for cooking rock?

Those connections can be a pita. Especially depending on when your house was built. I once lived in a condo that was was a mix of imperial and metric. Nightmare.

Any more thoughts on the waste water issue. My wife would love if I could move water production into the garage. The waste water is the only issue.

I've made about 80g of RO/DI so far and I have run the waste water into the basement floor sump with no change in water level of the sump. And I have no sump pump. I guess its just going into the ground? When I get a sink and running water, I will need to pump it up into a 4 inch line sewer line. . Hockeynut says it should be no problem.

Looking good mark

Thanks! Starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel.

Electric and RO/DI are now completed. Rob has the frame I built for the DT and he picked up the wood this past week. Stand should be done in the next week or two. Bought my LED lights this past week. Have test kits. Etching about 50-60 lbs of rock right now.

When my Visa cycle rolls over, I'm ordering return pump and baffles for sump. Need to buff out scratched and install baffles. Still have plumbing to figure out.

So I have work to do but I feel like I'm getting close. I hope to have my first frag in the next week...really looking forward to that one...Dance

I really owe a lot to everyone here for the great advise and support. Rob has been exceptional gracious with his help and advise.
