I was at ACC and Trop Friday and didn't see anything that caught my eye. Plus dropping a ton on a calcium reactor and associated parts last week kind of put me over budget.

Picked up the MTC ProCal already. Today I should be getting the aquarium plants regulator as well.

Update
Well got my Apex thanks to dan (Sobo) sorry to see him get out but he will be back.


And for the biggie........ I ordered the tank today and it's suppose to be in on Monday
Next is stand and canopy build. I'm so excited I'm shaking

I started on the stand today after work but ran out of wood so hopefully tomorrow I wil have time to pick up a couple more 2x4s.
The tank was suppose to come in on Monday but was put off till possibly Friday. I'm hoping to have the base of the stand completed by the time the tank gets here. Here it is

Yea but still waiting for it to come in. I gave a deposit and feel I might be getting the run around, hopefully It will be in tomorrow.

I think I will be ordering my skimmer tonight. I decided to go with h coral view again. I'm going with the RO elite 220 int. it looks to be the one for the job and it is DC, and unlike other RO skimmers you can take the whole thing apart for cleaning

Good choice on the skimmer! They're very well built and the newer version of their dc pump is awesome.

A little more progress today I finished the stand base and gave it a coat of Benjamin Moore impervo oil based paint which I'm sure is illegal in the state of California.
Still waiting for the tank but the skimmer is ordered and should be here on Thursday. That leads me to a swap day and I'm thinking not next weekend but the 16th. Hopefully the tank will Be in on Monday and give me time to water test and drill. I also have to build a hood for the halides. Anyone out there running 250 w on a 180
