New to NJRC. I've been in the hobby for about 8 years. I'm in another club up here, but always looking for more and new info. I have a 100g Cube that's been up and running for about 2 months after a bad wipeout that took me 3 months to figure out. I've got a handful of LPS, some encrusting SPS and a small zoo garden. Fish are a pair of Black and White Ocellaris, African Flameback, a single Ignitus Anthias, Yellow Tang, Wheeler's Goby, Yellow Watchman Goby and Blue Stripe Neon Goby. I'm also running a 20H refugium with Live Rock and caulerpa, a 20L frag tank and a 55g sump for a total water volume of about 150 gallons. Glad to be a part of NJreefers.

Welcome! 100 cube sounds nice, what are the measurements? I'd be interested to hear about your tanks story. What wiped it out and how you found and corrected it.

Oh, and pictures..... we love pictures.

Be happy to start a thread somewhere... Any particular forum you recommend? I haven't looked around a ton, but I didn't see any new tank builds in my short time online so far.

So I just created a post in "Tale of the Tank" and clicked "submit new thread at the bottom". I got a "redirect" and in a few seconds I was taken back to the "Tale of the Tank" thread-list... Except my thread titled "100g Cube" wasn't there? Maybe a newbie thing? Any suggestions?

Hi guys and gals,

My name is Jim and I'm returning to the hobby after many years. I had a fish only tank about 25 years ago when I was young and single.
Now I'm starting a 90 gallon AGA tech tank with a different stand; I'm really excited about getting back into it and I look forward to getting to know you all.

Hello NJRC-

My name is Joe and I am new to the saltwater side of the house. After several freshwater tanks in the past I decided to tackle the challenge of a reef aquarium. I opted for a 54 Gallon corner tank as my fist tank, as I acquire more knowledge
and skill in the hobby I plan to go bigger. I am hoping to learn as much as I can from all of you as well as contribute where I can.
