Yes, a bit larger, could always pack with extra epoxy.

Nice job on the frag holders....looks like this weekend will be up to 60 you should be in good shape.
Nice job Pete. Were you able to add a bit if texture to the holders?
Wow! I'm impressed. Pete, I have a kiln that you can borrow, it needed. And I mean borrow, because I don't want to watch my electric meter spin faster than a B17's propeller. It's 220 volts, and relatively easy to transport.
If you had not said anything most people would not even notice that kind of detail. Looks good man.
Pete, let me give you some advise…..having painted numerous cars (all with some boo-boos)…..NEVER POINT OUT YOUR MISTAKES, BECAUSE OTHERWISE NO ONE WILL SEE THEM!
You did a great job! Very nice.
You also gave me a little deja-vu moment with the “twos” comments….with a Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young song:
Our house is a very, very fine house
With two cats in the yard
Life used to be so hard
Now everything is easy
'Cause of you….
So I’m guessing everything will be easy from here on out!
Again, nicely done.
Thanks guys, dealing with projectile vomiting and crabbiness in the 1yr old. Sort of like out of the exorcist....nothing like finishing your day with a vomit bath. Joy!!
Wow Pete it looks great! I love the sap grain in the birch is gonna look awesome under that dark stain. Are you going to use wood conditioner before you stain? I always use it on soft or porous wood.
As far as the difference in the doors, the quality of the build far exceeds that little over site. Nice DIY
