Was off from work today, so part of my day was skinning the stand and canopy. Still have to trim it and work on doors, but net chance is not till next week.

Thanks Kschweer! Your stand looks great, I like the clean trim look and will follow with something similar on mine. Will not match the floor as my wife wants espresso to go with existing furniture. Will have to see how the stain takes on a test piece.

Thanks guys. I'm not a carpenter so my time is long. Instead of measure twice and cut once,it's more like measure 4-5 times and then cut

Been slow over the last week or so but got some of the trim up. The top board of the base needs to be finalized and trimmed in. Next step is making doors.

Thanks, it's a birch veneer, and pine trim. I was going to use maple for the trim but realized that the stain I'm going to use is a dark espresso color. Not much difference when I tested the stain on pine vs maple. So save money go with pine.

I like the birch, plain old plywood is too rustic for me. I like your stain choice as well, just did a shelf in it. You are doing a great job~
