    Peppermint shrimp

Here's a list of "peppermint" shrimp. They all supposedly eat aiptasia, but the best bet is with "A". Also, the Camel Shrimp has been mistaken as a peppermint. I'll see if I can find a picture of a camel.

noopsyche k7 pro 2 replacement fan

Yep, looks to be a standard 120mm x 25 mm computer fan, the most common fan used in LED lights. I typically buy a multi-pack because it's a common replacement item. HERE is but one example from eBay. Can't vouch for the plug in because I always cut and solder the wires.

Snail haul thanks to Jersey Shore!

There is one other potential issue with locally collected snails.....swimmer's itch. We had a member years ago who collected local snails. He wondered why he always had rashes, with some requiring visits to the hospital. For the longest time he blamed palytoxins. But after one emergency...

    The What's for Dinner thread

Up at the lake house in upstate NY last night....a little prime rib still on the spit. What's missing is the smell-a-vision.....the aroma was to die for.

    Shoutout to Wilson416

It's not so much your ears, but your neighbors and your local town ordinances. My town allows chickens at residential homes, but no roosters.

    Shoutout to Wilson416

I am no expert, but those two photos look like a young Rhode Island Red ROOSTER!!! Now I'm wondering how many cock-a-doodle-doo's before we've having chicken dinner? The only good news is that they don't start vocalizing until about 4 to 5 months....enough time to find some nice recipes. :oo:

I've got a 100 gallon you can borrow, but I'm in Sayreville. Might have to play with the bulkhead to seal it up.

    The What's for Dinner thread

I’m bach’ing it while my wife is on a girl’s mini vacation out on the end of Long Island for a couple days….So I get to make what I want to eat….and I felt like Sausage Ziti. Now if you're a pasta person, you’ve noticed that this pasta is not ziti, but is penne. The store didn’t have...

If you can do it, strongly agree with the window air conditioner option. We prefer fresh air over AC unless it's brutal. So I simply keep the windows open in the house and close the fish room and turn on the air in there. You can easily pick up a 5000 btu for around $150.

    "Suitcasing" at RAP?

Here's A little club history....and yes, suitcasing has happened at NJRC swaps. In 2008 we had a good sized frag swap in Secaucus....loads of vendors, speakers and a luncheon included. It was more or less our dry run before hosting MACNA in 2009. With the swap going on, a member came rolling...

Suitcasing is actually defined in the link provided in Marcus' OP.

    "Suitcasing" at RAP?

Definitely was happening! An item I had purchased, the President/Owner was at RAP with a vendor badge (of not his company), roaming the isles drumming up business. And don't ask, I'm not going to out him.

    Water Calrifier

This appears to be electro-chemical flocculation. It involves actual particles, including bacteria, that get charged and then flocculate, either floating, sinking or attaching to other stuff....like calcium carbonate. I'm familiar with chemical flocculants, (and I know API has some product...
