    Glueing Frags on Rear Glass

I know this is an older thread, but if you are interested in maximizing space you may want to look at a DIY project I did years ago. You can search for a thread called "Back Wall Aquascaping". It is under the DIY section. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Cooked my Corals

Thanks art. I really appreciate it. I can't remember why I didn't want to dose the tank. Can't recall if I was afraid it would kill something else I wanted. Of course the irony is, I pretty much killed everything in the process. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Cooked my Corals

I was very frustrated after having multiple pests in the tank. Red bugs kept showing up on purchased or traded corals. Decided to take my corals out of the tank to run interceptor in a tub overnight. Well, I guess I wasn't thinking clearly due to frustration, but I put a cover on the tub...

    SPS concern

I think the mostly white one was a goner anyway. Looks like it didn't have much tissue left. I always had mixed experiences on polyp extension depending on the SPS. good flow could help with that ...and maybe some time while it hopefully colors up for you. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    SPS concern

How are these corals doing? I would have either left them be, or considered dipping them. If they are still the same now, then I would leave them be.

Just to close the loop on this. I installed a new ballast yesterday. Bulb fired right up. Today the same. Looks like it was a bad ballast. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Dave's 60 Gallon Cube

Well the road back to a functioning tank is in progress. Took out a bunch of live rock, and designed a new rock setup. Hair algae is mostly under control. Looking forward to getting some new life into the tank. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Hair algae help please...

Fwiw just saw a brs tv vid on feeding frozen mysis. Put frozen cube in a plastic cup with small holes in bottom. Stack that cup in a second plastic cup. Cube melts leaving nutrient rich water in bottom cup. Pull out top cup straining through holes ...and put shrimp in tank. Throw water down...

IMO, How to run an Immune, Natural tank for over 40 years with few problems

Yep. I understand. I don't make a big deal of it unless it gets out of control. I like diversity and natural methods as a general rule over chemicals. As you say, natural reefs have algae...it is the aquarist who views any algae growth as a problem. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

IMO, How to run an Immune, Natural tank for over 40 years with few problems

Paul. I hope you will be adding to your post, as I know you have a wealth of experiential knowledge. You say there is no need to battle algae, cyano, etc. So what are you saying you use to control them? Do you feel having large healthy coral competes with nuisance algae blooms for...
