From people who I know that own them the tank and stand are fantastic, not a big fan of the included sump though. The 173g peninsula looks great, something I would definitely consider, not to mention the new 700G standard tank.

Glad you found the reset, that was going to be my suggestion since it basically let's you start over again. If that didn't work something more expensive could of been the problem.

If its that bad then it is in the plumbing, sump everything. You need to either nuke the entire system or get something that eats it.

When I ran biopellets my skimmer maintenance was definitely increased. I did read in several places that the ideal thing was to take the output of the biopellet reactor and feed it directly into the skimmer, not sure how true that is though.

Does the back of the power strip have screw holes? Sometimes they look like an X or a T. I mounted mine with a simple screw and used that hole on the back.

They will not touch urchins, only starfish. The starfish do run for cover as they realize somehow that something is about to consume them

Unless they are doing damage to others or themselves I wouldn't move them, since they can move themselves and you can damage them if you try to move them (assuming they aren't attached to a rock). Nems are frustrating at times. I have a RTBA and it has split 3 times, 2 of them look fantastic...

I would add this, they left my serpent star alone. didn't touch it at all. Not sure why but so it goes.

I don't have mine anymore but they will eat those puppies up very nicely. If you can get a pair they will last a while in your tanks. Mine stayed for over 9 months before they just disappeared. They really eat all starfish and nothing but starfish.

I think AI stopped the upgrade kits because of the HD lights. I did manage to get the upgrade though and I really enjoy these lights.
