Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
There response has been great. They could of taken the route of Target/HomeDepot and the many others and just say 'Hey it happens, you deal with it on your own'. Even at $50 a year the money they are spending on protecting their customers is great. Just become a very difficult world to control.
Clownfish eggs again, seems to be every 14-21 days now. First time under the anemone itself, which seems to be bothering it but so is life.

My buddy who did the remote fish room for his 340 used the flexible for the drains and I believe rigid for the returns, but I can double check that. Its a great setup if you can do it, as it just seems so much easier to live with then having it under the tank.
Our whole house 20kW system is ready to go for the power outage, but it too requires maintenance. Every 100 hours of operation you still have to change oil, filters and such, but that is simple.
There is always a drain for the gas line, somehow some way. Which brand and model is it? That gas is definitely not healthy and the spark plug may need to be cleaned as well.
Gas should not be left in any motor that isn't run regularly. Advanced Auto Parts will take those old fluids no matter what. I always drain the generator after use and the snow blower at the end of the season.
The 5 gallon never gets full, it may get to 3 but then it hits the float valve. The carbon in the top stops it from smelling, not really noticeable at all. I have also had that save my butt a few times, when my skimmer went nuts and drained 3 gallons quickly, turned off and informed me of the...
I have done a similar thing. I got a 5 gallon bucket at Home depot, they make a screen top with a rubber gasket for these. I drilled into the top and use a barb to attach my skimmer to drain. I then used a small piece of flex to create a hole in the top with a sewer cap and a screw top to...
A family friend had their sons birthday at an Airsoft place and they turned down the force on the guns somehow, but its a disposable clothing and shoes trip.
My MP40s are ribbed (for my fishes pleasure) but have the blocked part as well. I always face them up, seemed to make for better flow but I get why they would say to face it down to prevent the substrate from moving.
The increase is noticeable. I added this and the second membrane. Used to take 6-7 hours to make water for a change Now it's down to 4
