Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
You should only need a precision screwdriver set. You can get them from HD or Radio Shack if you do not have a set already.

Replacing the screen is not that hard. Only takes about half hour, or an hour if it's your first time. Use the tip of an Exacto knife to carefully remove the screw hole covers if you want to reuse them.

I've used Agra-Alive Fiji Pink sand in all my tanks, before going to bare bottom.
Last PA group buy, a ton of people ordered Tropic Eden Reef Flakes and Mini Flakes. It seems to be a popular choice also.

MACNA really helped me keep the dream alive. It will be back and better than before! With a little time and a lotta love the plumbing will be done the right way, and not I need to move out of my apartment in a week.
Things are looking better, still have some patches of hair algae. With everything in the 40B I'll be able to do much larger water changes to keep nutrients low and kill off what little bit is left.

It's the coating of the magnet that has the copper, but i'm sure the neodymium is not good to have in the system either. The racks should have had the magnets epoxied in place and then covered with the acrylic caps. The magnets were just crumbling when I took them out of the rack to examine...
I spent about 5 or 6 hours working on the tanks today. I have the 40B setup and about 3/4 of the way full. I should have it full by tomorrow, had to make some more SW.
I spent most of the time scrubbing hair algae off the rocks in the 120, and removed a few dead corals I missed from the last...
