Paul, I was going to suggest exactly that. It takes years of experience, patience and luck to have success with SPS. Go this route for now and once things get established, try your hand at SPS again.
Trust me, you are fine. My system runs at 75 even 74 all winter longer. Your corals and fish will be happier. As we get into the winter though you will probably see the tank get even cooler, so at that point you will need to add a heater.
Count me in. Paul, all I can say is be PATIENT! You just hooked up the new reactor a month ago. It takes time for the benefits of that to be visible. In addition establishing a great system takes time and patience. You will get there...

I use the night mode. #1 less energy use. #2 certain LPS corals close up at night and are stressed by high flow. #3 I figure the fish sleep better not getting blown all over the place.
