Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
You can pick up clear plastic mesh from Amazon or BRS.
Through BRS you can buy it as a full cover kit.
If you want to save some cash, you can go to a box store and buy the runners, the corner pieces, and the spline that holds the net in fairly cheap.
Ha! Was going to highly recommend Clearview...
I used to do 5ml of Redsea AB+ with a small splash of Marine Snow (or phyto) and/or a pinch of Goni-powder, olive optional.
Worked wonders for all the filters in the tank, as well as the pod population.
I have a 30g long (3' width) and the 2k's are too powerful unless you dial em all the way down, and they're still super strong.
The Icecap 1k's would be ideal but they don't make em anymore and they're hard to find used.
Mark!
Hey bud. Hope all's well and hope you finally got a boat for that dock.
Cant beliebve you still have that stan, its one of the nicest I've ever seen. If i had the space...
Best to your crew!
AJ, refresh me on where you're at. I just picked up a floating Hydro last night but a second wouldn't hurt.
Antony, what you looking for on the Milwaukee? I know you're a long haul for me.
Well, did an expensive 'oopsie' as my Milwaukee refract hit the floor.
Using a swing arm to get by but it aint gonna cut it.
Figured I'd check here before I go drop a buck twenty.
Emeralds will pick at the turf but are actually picking caught food out of it in my experience.
Urchins are phenomenal at cleaning gha (as are sally lightfoots*) but 50/50 at best with turf.
If you can pull the rock, drop it in a bucket and squirt undiluted peroxide directly on it, then let it...
I should be able to make it for a bit.
I'll have a few frags (6) of red cap.
Also debating on brining a tux urchin for trade/adoption, we have a love/hate relationship.
That AI Booster pump ROCKS.
Was hesitant on dropping the $100+, but happy I gave in.
Can fill 5g bucket in no time, minimal waste, and it flushes the lines every start/stop.
Do it :)
