    Thanks all. Sorra combined 2 of the above ideas as i have no sump. Put about 6” of tank water in 5g buckets and put the rocks in there standing on edge. Hoping the inverts will make their way down to the water.

    Hey all. Thinking about doing the scape change soon. Possibly today. For anyone who done similar - How do you salvage as much maco life off the removed rocks as possible? I’ve got hiding crabs, tons of brittle stars, pods, etc… Any methods to recover at least some?

    As far as I'm aware, and I may be wrong, Its usually the yolk sac thats still attached to them for the first 12-24 hours after hatching that provides nutrition. Saying that, like feeder insects for lizards, you can gut load them like NJ said. Separate your feeders for the next day out at night...
