So, for all the years I've been in this hobby, I never added dry rock direct to my tank.
I'm thinking of replacing one of the rocks in the tank that takes up about 20% of my rock space.
Was going to replace it with a piece of Marcorocks Reef Saver premium dry rock.
Anyone done this? Bad idea?
Good to hear.
I'm surprised how fast these things can be.
They trick me into thinking they move the speed of a sloth, then when uncomfortable (mine hates being misted) they move pretty darn fast.
Lemme verify I still have it.
Hoboken is one of my loves.
I was a hardcore punk in the 90's and 00's.
Maxwells (RIP) was the place to be Thursdays (Circle Jerks, Greenday, Black Flag, Ramones, Dead Kennedy's, and everything else).
Pipeline, Knitting Factory, CBGBs, City Gardens, etc on weekends...
I may have a nice metal stand you can have for $0.
I am negotiable on price.
WIll check tomorrow, post pics, and let you know.
If Hudson is your county, I grew up in Kearny, so can bring up that way on a weekend.
Doing well.
2 molts, eats 5x his body weight it seems, moody as f (or s) word, majorly cool.
He scans the room by hanginging upside down and rolling eyes all over…
Hi Mex, sorry for late post.
I'm trimmed out atm, but can probably get you a small piece.
JD's probably your best bet if you need a good starter.
I'll post again when I'm harvesting.
If you're stuck on the smaller size, start looking towards reptile bulb fixtures, they get as low as 14".
They're high output T5s, just drop in reef bulbs, but they're usually single bulb fixtures, so you might need to run a few.
